All of the seniors in ROTOM program are encouraged to attend weekly fellowships where they can gather together and talk to other seniors, sing songs, read the Bible, and eat a (very large) hot meal.

| Batera Deziranta`s husband and all but one of her children have died, leaving her completely alone with only the sporadic aid of her living son, an alcoholic. When ROTOM found Deziranta, she was so ill she could not move and an infection in her head and ears had left her deaf. | |

I spent the week of May 15th visiting with the seniors and volunteers associated with ROTOM project in Kabale. While every day I have seen God’s hand in our work, this week was a clear manifestation of how dramatically God has touched and changed the lives of seniors to whom we minister.
